2nd Statement Of Intent
Knowing that each and every person has their own habits, there must be a story and reason behind it. Same goes to being a designer, in order to create visuals that are appealing and meaningful, it is necessary to produce a design with a different perspective and let audiences experience it in their own kind of way. As a designer, it is our responsibility to make things a little more different and interesting from the non-designers. Therefore, it is the designer’s intention to understand the importance of observing the things that are happening around them and communicating it through visuals. The designer believes that implementing experiences in designs is something that can provide a deeper understanding towards her audiences. Whereby more messages are being communicated, more emotions, more observations, more ideas and more value to it.
Telling a story through visuals is different. We, as a designer, tell stories with colours, shapes, photographs, layouts, animations and many other forms. Thus, our goal should not be to find a way to make the user fit into the design, but rather to create a journey that places our designs in the context of their real-life story. Having a good narrative, on the other hand, imagination and empathy can be used to spark a connection and take the audiences on a journey, making them feel something, and driving them into action. Despite having a good context and attractive design is one of the main focuses when creating visuals, the designer would like to take the opportunity to weave meaningful stories and immersive experience with the audiences.
