During this week (week 5), we had a study trip to the FabU cafe. We started off the workshop by being introduced to the FabU cafe. Moving on designing our own keychain design. Being a fan of a South Korean boy band called BigBang since 2012, I decided to do something that is related to them. The design of the keychain came from the upper part of their lights-tick.

Final Outcome

While I was deciding what to have for lunch at the cafe, the cute cartoons of the pancake on the menu attracted my attention. Usually I only see people drawing pancakes manually but this is my first ever time encountering engraving pancakes. There were many other cartoon options too. Also, there are a few options of pancake flavours. The one I've chosen is called the good old fashioned pancake and it comes with honey and maple syrup.

Here are some pictures of the pancake that I've taken:

Overall I think this workshop was fun and interesting. Other than being able to learn something new, I can also create something that I like at the same time. Even though the pancake took awhile to arrive, not to lie the pancake tasted pretty good. Hope that there will be more interesting workshops in the future.
